We pay a special attention to sourcing & utilizing raw materials that are sustainable within nature. This informs both our process and ultimately the finished pieces in unique and beautiful ways.

Natural & Ethically Sourced and Produced Fibers
This includes silk, wool, and cotton textiles that were made from fibers untreated with pesticides, such as organic cotton, or non-synthetic fibers that were grown in good working conditions, where farmers were given a fair wage for their product.
Vegetable Tanned Leather
Vegetable tanning is the natural process of using the tannins found in barks, wood and other parts of plants to convert animal skin into leather. It is one of the oldest methods of making leather and is a sustainable alternative to chrome tanning.
Natural Dyes & Pigments
We dye or silk fiber with a wide range of botanical and natural dyes, such as Black Walnut, Cochineal, Indigo, Logwood, Cutch, Madder Root, Sandalwood, Tea, Turmeric. We source our oil paints from Beam Paints who uses wild harvested pigments and non-sythetic ingredients to create her hand made paint.
Responsibly Sourced Metals
We buy our metal sheeting and findings from distributers that are informed about the production and source of their materials and offer transparency in their supply chains. Whenever possible we endeavor to use metals that are, third party certified as ethically mined, reclaimed/recycled, and made in the USA.
